One chapter closes - and a new one opens...........

Yesterday I gave notice to my job. The market is so unreliable, that it has forced me to look out there. Because of these conditions our office is moving to Palmdale. That is just to far from Valencia. Mike has been traveling and I just can't be so far from home all day! So I am soooooo excited to start a new job with Jostens. It is going to be fun, challenging, busy, and I am soooo looking forward to it.

They were rallying for a win. They were down 11-2, VERY close to a mercy....and those Rally caps helped they came back & lost 11-10.

We had our first Tournament for this Tournament season. It was a BLAST. We went all the way to the Chamionship game & lost 2-1. But what a great game it was. On Saturday Justin hit a home run, his first with this team, so he was EXCITED.....and so was I!!!

Its good to be playing Bandits Baseball again!!!!

Our next tournament is in August!! Can't wait!!!

One Home - One to go.....

Do you know what happens when you send a child with his grandpa to be spoiled ROTTEN for a week??? Yep they come home - first of all with A LOT OF STUFF, but secondly they come home & need to be "re-adjusted!!"
Justin has a GREAT time when he is with his grandma! They travel well together. They went on a Road trip to Sacramento. On the way they stopped of in Jamestown & did some sight seeing, and some Gold mining. He hasn;t stopped talking about the Cavern that he went down. He wants to take Mike & I so we can do it too! I didn;t have the heart to tell him that that isn't exactly something I would do! {Too scared!!}
So now he has chores to do, a room to clean, a baseball tournament to get ready for. And he was less than thrilled about that.
So Justin is home, & Mike is on his way. And we are off to Riverside this weekend for Bandit Baseball.
As soon as I figure out how to add pictures - I will.

Catching up with Kerri

Both of my guys were gone this week. This is something that has NEVER happened. Ok well that isn;t entirely true ..... last week I had 1 night. {does that count??}
As much as I missed them both, it was really nice to have some ME time. I went to dinner with my very good friend Lori - who I NEVER see! That was so nice to catch up! And last night I went out with Sharyn. The nice thing is not having that "I really should be going" feeling. It was nice to have girl time with my friends!!
I also had time to scrap a book for a friend who just had a baby & to "bedazzle" my Bandits shirts for our Tournament this weekend. Now that I did everything {ok not EVERYTHING but enough }that I wanted - Mike will be home tomorrow & tonight I have to CLEAN> After his second week (Mon-Fri) gone, a guy should be able to come home to a clean house!
Just is literally minutes from being home. I keep watching the front door at work, waiting for that adorable smile!! {And his bags & bags of loot that he got from being with Grandma!!}

July 4th

Just got back from our 1st Lake trip of the summer. It was good to dust off the 'ole boat & enjoy the weekend together, and with some friends.
Hopefully we won;t be too inundated with Travel Baseball to get out a few more times. Mike has the bug now! :-}
