Girls Night Out - SURPRISE KATIE!!

My sister-in-Law Nik came up with a great idea to celebrate Katies 30th B-Day.........

GIRLS NIGHT OUT!!!

We had so much fun. It was night to get out with the girls & talk about things girls talk about.....

kids, husbands, ......and we had a single girl with us so yes we talked about stuff singles do to. It's been awhile for most of us, so we were happy to listen! heehee

We had dinner @ Cheesecake Factory & then onto Montana to Whoop it up!! Well we did more talking than we did Whooping it up!! It a good time! I had to be the Party pooper because I had so far to drive, next time....definitly sleep over!!!

CHAMPIONS!!!!

WOOOHOOO We won the Championship at our tournament this weekend. It was a GREAT weekend! Justin was strong at the plate. And he did amazing behind the plate!! We are sooo proud of him and all of his teamates!!

A day of firsts............

And I really enjoyed my first day. It was pretty slow as "busy season" starts in a few weeks, just enough time for me to get my feet wet. It is VERY diffeent than working in Corporate America. Just a great Family business.

We wnet to Havasu this weekend & stayed with a really good friend of ours!! Kaleb came with us. Which is a really funny story. Justin spent last weekend with them {so Mike & I could go to the Dodger game} and Mike picked him up on Monday & decided to bring Kaleb back with him "for a few days" well 2 lead to 3 which lead to 4 and when we were going to Havasu, we just kidnapped him until Monday. So he has been with us for a week. I have never seen such a LITTLE man eat like him!! He eats EVERYTHING that you put in front of him. Now my little man is NOTHING like that. He is VERY picky!!!

I am sooo happy that two people just walked out of MY office before I said someting that would make me look less than nice {How PC was that!!!}
People that are completely INSENSITIVE to what other people are going thru just kill me!!!!!
Ok I'm feeling better now and I will do my best to explain my rant!!!!!!!

Things look BLEEK here at Beazerland in LA.... {And that's being optimistic} well we have people from our BIG office in OC down here cleaning up. {Because they "suddenly " after 10 months feel the need to figure out how to get on the freeway going towards Valencia {Look you said it was MY blog & I could say what I want....... I'm a little sassy!!!!}

In light of what we're going thru here..... they leave the office & say {loud enough for us to hear} oh this is going to take us 2/3 hours to get back & then unload all this.....we'll just put down 3 hour overtime. LOOK PEOPLE ARE LOSING THEIR JOBS & THEY DON'T WANT TO HEAR THAT KIND OF BS!!!!!!

Whew - I don;t do that often, but it sure felt good!!!! Tomorrow is my last day & I am quite happy about that.

We have had Kaleb visiting for a few days {& we just told his mom that he's not coming home tomorrow like she planned.......we're taking him to Havasu with us!! heeheee FUN TIMES!!!

They have played baseball & played video games for 3 days!!!! Just enjoying their last few days of summer.

Today I had lunch with a group of "Beazer Girls". It was so nice to see everyone. It's hard when someone {everyone =)} leaves a job, it is SOOOO darn hard to get together. Luckily I provided a reason......It was a nice lunch!

We were invited to the Didger game. Our friends have VIP Stadium Club seats. And it was an AMAZING experience. We were on TV with every at bat!! Justin thought it was absolutly hysterical to be at my sisters & to see us on TV. It was Good Times. Definitly a great way to see a game!!

So I am gearing up for my last week of work here at work. And to be honest it's kind of bitter-sweet! I have really loved working here. My first day I knew absolutly NOTHING about home building, but I learned and now I can answer any question that comes my way about my little world of the Home Building process! I will miss that. I have been surrounded by the most amazing people. Faith brought me to this job, and for that I am forever grateful, and for our growing friendship - I am even more grateful! Martha & I have been alone together since Faith left us last October and we have muddle thru these trying times. I will surly miss her!!! I just pray that everything continues - so she can continue to work close to home in Palmdale!! =)

Today I met Justin & Mike for lunch, they were out shopping. They LOVE to go shopping together...... We were buying Justin his new school clothes.........yep he has moved into Mens shoes. His foot is too big for kids. I think It's just going to go soooo fast now. Which absolutly scares me...... I'm going to blink and he's going to be a tenager...A thought that I just can not fathom right now!! How do they grow so darned fast???? I'm telling you he was just a toddler - I swear he was!!! {Smile}
